We're a small, family business headed up by Geneviève Langlois-Laflamme, a trained accountant specializing in helping small businesses and start ups simplify their finances.
We're travelers, free spirits, and human beings who like having human conversations about finance without the jargon. We won't just help with your accounts, we'll be your partner and cheerleaders along your route to success.

Finance En Route was created with freedom in mind. We live, work, and hike in the mountains of Sutton, Quebec, and have traveled and cycled all over the world. We find joy in the simple things - a beautiful view, a stunning sunset, a good conversation. Those ideas of freedom and simplicity combined to form Finance En Route - a company built to simplify business finance and set small business owners free.

Years of experience
Geneviève has over 15 years of experience in accounting.
She began her career in a medium-sized accounting firm and then worked for the Desjardins Group for 5 years.
​
Holder of the CPA-CA designation from 2009 to 2016, in 2016 she dropped the title to go on an adventure around the world and seek the freedom she was missing in the corporate environment.
In 2019, with a new outlook on the world, she decided to make an official comeback and was hired in a manufacturing SME in Brome-Missisquoi as Director of Finance before launching her own professional services firm in the spring of 2021.
